We are glad that you decided to visit the Parent Engagement Page. Getting engaged in your child’s education is a key piece of the student academic achievement puzzle. By getting more engaged, parents help us work towards closing the achievement gap between students and their peers and also change the culture of schools so parents, students, and teachers define success as the academic achievement of every child.

Your student will reap great benefits from you getting and staying involved throughout their education. These include:
  • higher achievement in reading
  • higher grades and test scores
  • high graduation rates
  • greater enrollment in post-secondary education
  • overall higher student achievement
